Layout
On the nearside is the
sliding habitation door which gives you easy access to a very bright, stylish
hand fitted habitation area with wood cabinetry, on your right is a double seat
which folds down to make a very comfortable double “rock n roll” bed. There is
also a large removeable pedestal table for mealtimes. 12v LED mood lighting
gives blue or plain light.
The kitchen area features
a 2-ring gas hob, good sized fridge with icebox, sink and plenty of practical storage
space including a large slide out cupboard.
At the rear, the tailgate
door lifts to reveal access to storage space and the engine compartment.
The cab has the classic VW
camper feel with re-upholstered seats in a stylish blue finish. To keep you
entertained a Bluetooth radio ensures a modern touch.
Mechanicals
In 2021 a new refurbished 1915cc
petrol engine was fitted by a VW specialist, also replaced were the clutch,
starter motor & fuel pump. In 2020 upgrades included new fuel tank, brake
pads and exhaust.
All in all, this is a
great vehicle and has been lovingly restored and converted by its current owner with a wealth of history and paperwork for works carried out.
Extras include, the original awning, a full set of thermal/black-out detachable window screens and interior LED lighting.
In summary this is a classic VW camper with style, modern touches and offers great value for money.
