All monies deposited as part of a motorhome transaction through Motorhome Depot are placed in an FCA regulated clients account. The final transfer of funds cannot take place until all parties approve the transaction. You have full control of your money during the transaction until you are ready to release the funds.

We do this for your peace of mind. Buying or selling a motorhome involves large amounts of money. Unfortunately, in recent years there have been a number of instances of fraud in the market as well as motorhome dealers going into administration that has resulted in buyers and sellers losing large sums of money. It is perfectly sensible that you would want to make sure your money is absolutely secure. By placing all monies in an FCA regulated clients account, we make sure that your money is 100% secure - there is no circumstance where your money can be moved without your authority. It is exactly the same principle as buying a house - your money sits in an FCA regulated clients account until the purchase completes. If the transaction doesn't complete, your money gets returned to you direct from the clients account. When buying or selling through Motorhome Depot, you know your money is secure.

Additional Security

Because the process is FCA regulated there are some additional security features, the main one being a "Know Your Customer" check which is carried out on the seller. Administration Fee

Naturally there is a cost to providing this level of security, both for the platform and the FCA regulated banking arrangement. The cost is £99 per transaction which both buyer and seller pay.
