It's built on the Fiat Ducato with the 2.3 Multi-jet engine, upgraded to 140 bhp, and has a 9 shift Automatic gear box. Carado is a brand of the Ermin Hymer Group and is manufactured in Germany.
At the rear, is a fixed transverse double bed with good central storage underneath and side cupboard for 2 gas bottles. The bedroom has windows to side and rear with a skylight above, all with blinds and fly screens. We have stylish storage cupboards, excellent lighting and a usb point.
Moving up on the drivers side we have the kitchen area, with 2 gas hob burner, sink with hot & cold mixer tap, all in stainless. With the cover down we have a good prep area. There are storage cupboards below, a cutlery drawer, 2 240 v sockets and a usb point. The 12v Thetford fridge is cleverly arranged on the end and has a 54 litre capacity.
Opposite is the washroom, with toilet and shower. We have high storage and more below the basin. There is a mirror, shower curtain, and a wooden duck board.
Two forward facing belted seats and two swivel captain seats make for a comfortable lounge/dining area with a sturdy adjustable table. A small bed can be made in this area. There is another skylight, a TV, and the habitation door can be fully fly screened off.
The cab is up to the minute, with a Teleco multi-media navigation receiver. We have full, side and screen black out blinds, cab air con, cruise control, reversing camera, and front parking sensors. This Camper is going out at £5000 less than its retail price in April this year, has a long list of additional specifications and so is well priced, with its world class build quality, and is still under warranty. All in all a great two person tourer, at only 5.4 metres can be used on a daily basis. It is comfortable, has a Truma gas/electric heating system, a 150 watt solar panel and a Thule awning.
