The 2019 Roller Team Toleno R built in the UK by Auto-Trail on a 5.99-metre Fiat Ducato Highline chassis, is a highly flexible, budget-friendly "daily driver" family van capable of sleeping four while remaining under the 3,500kg licence threshold.
The Toleno R’s meticulous design delivers all the features you need. Coming in at just under 6m, with flexible half dinette and rear double bunk beds, with the bottom bed having the ability to be hinged up to create that all important storage space when travelling. Design upholstery, eye-catching exterior graphics and customised cab seats. The lounge has a half-dinette style layout with two forward-facing travel seats. These are particularly good, as they have sculpted backrests and contoured seat cushions that make them more supportive and comfortable.
Well-kitted out kitchen: Dometic two-burner stainless-steel hob and sink unit, 20-litre 800W microwave inset into cabinets beneath. 5 x 240V sockets. Good-sized cutlery drawer under the sink and two cupboards.
Washroom: Thetford swivel bowl toilet with electric flush, shower and sink cabinets. With 6ft 1in of height, there’s plenty of headroom. Sink unit flips down to reveal mixer tap inset into a handy storage shelf for your toiletries. Additional glass-fronted double-doored storage locker.
Beds: Ladder accessed upper bed with two individual mattresses and bases that can be either used as a large double or as two singles. Roof lockers, two adjustable LED reading lights fitted to the padded headboard end. Lower bed is slightly larger at 6ft 1in long with padded headboard and LED reading lights. Centre bed base lifts vertically and can be secured by a wall clip to give a large, central storage space ideal for bikes, barbecues and outdoor furniture.
Using van in 2-berth mode - leave upper bed at home to gain a vast amount of rear storage space. With the upper bed removed, you can use the bed space as an additional rear settee, too. Extra locker under nearside bed base with a large flip-down access door. Offside bed base houses Combi 4E blown-air heater (which has single vents in the lounge, washroom and two in the rear bed base), the leisure battery, the battery charger and fusebox/consumer unit.
