This ‘Classic’ Hymer S650 A Class Motorhome is a three berth and has three seatbelts. It’s 6.7m long and has a fantastic floor to ceiling height inside of 2.4m. It has a gross weight of 4600kg meaning you’ll need a C1 licence to drive it.
It’s based on a Mercedes Sprinter 416 chassis with a 2.7 litre turbo diesel engine coupled to an automatic gearbox.
The motorhome has a full service history and a habitation check was carried out in Feb 2026. The MOT runs until February 2027.
Security is provided by a Phantom Tracker and a remote control immobilizer.
On entering up the double electric step, to your right is the lounge area consisting of a plush ivory leather settee on the opposite side that pulls out to become a good sized single bed. To your right, you will find the third belted, moveable and reclining leather ‘captain’s chair with a circular adjustable table in front. A useful area of cupboard space is also along this right hand lower wall.
The lounge area is completed with the two swivelling captain’s chairs in the driver’s cab area, which when rotated, turn the lounge into a convivial social space for dining or entertaining.
Above the table, there is a cupboard with socket and aerial connection for a flat screen TV.
The cab area has an DAB Radio infotainment screen with Apple Car Play and Android Auto connectivity. There's Sat Nav and two reversing cameras, one which doubles as a rear driving mirror. Above the cab area, you will find the huge ‘drop down’ double bed which has a full length privacy curtain.
Turning left as you enter the motorhome leads you into the kitchen area where you will find a three burner gas hob, an Oven Grill, double sink with drainer and a large fridge freezer. Below the fridge, there is a dishwasher. Worktop space and cupboards abound. There is also an extractor fan above the cooker.
Moving towards the rear on your left is the shower room and Thetford swivel base toilet. Further to the rear is the wash handbasin opposite a large hanging wardrobe complete with shoe rack.
In addition to the standard Truma gas blown air heating, there is also underfloor diesel heating in the cab area.
Innovative storage solutions abound throughout the motorhome including a pull out unit for wine and cocktail glasses.
Externally, we have an electric Omnistor awning as well as a tow bar with electrics, gas BBQ point and hot and cold shower point.Slide out storage lockers are very generous in size as is the leisure battery locker.
On the roof, we have four solar panels which collectively produce 700Watts of power. These are regulated by the MPPT controller. There is currently one leisure battery but plenty of locker space to add another two to maximise the potential of the solar panels.
The quality of build in this Hymer is impressive and it thoroughly deserves it's right to now be considered a 'classic'. It also has the added bonus of a 'retro' chic disposition. It's sure to appeal to those who appreciate the outdoor lifestyle whist at the same time would be perfect for a travelling office due to it's well appointed and luxurious interior.
