The Kontiki 645 was and is a well sought after motorhome for its use of space in a 6 berth motorhome with front and back lounges popular for families or for discerning couples who want more room when motorhoming. This model has had modern fixtures and fittings fitted with a 3000-watt 12v to 240v off grid inverter, 2 leisure batteries, solar panel, additional diesel heating installed and USB ports fitted for full off grid adventuring and it comes with a fresh full mechanical service and new MOT.
The layout is starting at the rear we have a very spacious U-shaped lounge with additional overhead storage space. This area also includes a Sharp TV and there is also a large folding table which can be put in this space to create a nice rear dinette area with panoramic surround windows with the side benches can also be used as 2 singles beds or can be pulled together easily for a very large double bed. A concertina slide blind is also available to be pulled across to create maximum privacy. Moving into the washroom we have a separate shower cubical and toilet, with a vanity unit and wash hand basin, there are two storage cupboards under the sink and at high level. The kitchen has a 3 burner gas hob and additional electric ring, grill, oven, handwash basin, 3 way fridge and a microwave oven and high level storage cupboards. Adjacent to this is your second lounging area which includes an L shaped side bench which has 2 additional 3 point travelling seat belts, this may also be used as a very large single bed, or a small double bed if required. Finally we have a large over cab bed that will provide you with the final of your 6 berths that can be used for sleeping in or for extra storage space.
Externally the van has external storage cupboards, Fiamma door lock, bike rack, rear access ladder to roof, alloy wheels and a fixed wind out awning.
This Swift Kontiki 645 is based on the popular Fiat Ducato AL-KO chassis and boasts a 2.8 litre diesel engine with a manual gearbox. Its length is 7.4 metres, and its width is 2.35 metres and its MAM weight is 3850kg allowing more weight for holiday provisions when travelling with a C1 licence required to drive it.
