1972 VW Camper – 54‑Year‑Old Classic (MOT Exempt)
This much‑loved 1972 VW camper is now 54 years old and should be viewed as a true vintage vehicle. With its age comes character, charm, and the inevitable quirks and ongoing maintenance expected of a classic from this era. It starts first time, runs well, and is a testament to VW’s engineering, but it is not a modern, turnkey camper. It is MOT exempt but the last MOT was completed in March 21, at 208,158 miles and no advisories.
The current mileage is 209,027. It was purchased last year for a lady to fulfil a lifelong dream of owning a classic VW, but due to ill health it must now be sold. The camper has had eleven former owners over its lifetime, and the original service history has been lost along the way.
It offers two berths and two seat belts, making it ideal for an enthusiast or hobbyist who appreciates the heritage of these iconic vehicles.
