The 2016 Auto-Trail V-Line 540SE is a compact, high-top campervan built on the Fiat Ducato chassis, designed to combine everyday drivability with full touring capability. At just 5.41 m long, it is one of the smallest models in the V-Line range, making it easy to park and manoeuvre while still offering a practical two-berth living space.
Inside, the layout centers on a rear lounge with opposing bench seats that convert into a double bed measuring approximately 1.86 m by 1.32 m. This area also functions as the dining space when used with the removable table, and provides under-seat storage and overhead lockers.
The mid section houses a compact but well equipped kitchen with a three burner gas hob, oven and grill, sink, and three way fridge, while opposite is a combined washroom featuring a cassette toilet, shower and space-saving fold down basin.
The Camper is powered by a 2.3-litre diesel engine with manual gearbox, and includes features such as cab air-conditioning, cruise control, swivel cab seats, Truma heating and hot water, and a wind-out awning. Built by British manufacturer Auto-Trail, the 540SE aimed to offer a premium finish and strong equipment levels in a van suitable for both daily use and longer touring trips.
