For sale we have this 2009 Nu-Venture Moniche, compact, coach-built, 2-Berth motorhome. Based on the 1.8 litre TDCi Ford Transit with 5-speed gearbox, complete with reversing camera, rear parking sensors and Bluetooth radio. These motorhomes are built by a small family run business in Wigan and having owned a Nu-Venture Rio myself that I purchased new from the factory, I can tell you they are very well put together. The habitation door (complete with Fiamma security door handle) is found at the rear and upon entry into the motorhome using the stow-away step, you will find the kitchen area to the left that consists of a 2-burner hob with grill, sink with cold running water and a 3-way fridge with small freezer compartment. On the opposite side of the kitchen area is the toilet compartment with opening window to the side and Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush. Moving forward you will find the lounge / dining area complete with a large L-shaped settee, single seat and fixed dining table. This area converts into a double bed or can be used as two singles if preferred. There is ample storage space considering the compact size, good headroom throughout and feels bright and fresh thanks to the large windows and skylight. The motorhome is fitted with a 240V hook-up that will charge both the leisure battery for the 12V system and the engine battery and has both fresh and grey water tanks fitted.
The present owner has spent a considerable amount to ensure this is a very well-presented motorhome including a professional re-upholstery to all the seats and fresh new curtains and carpet. Now some potential buyers may be put off due to the high mileage but the engine was overhauled in 2013 at 142,885 miles and since then has only travelled 25,000 miles and sounded very smooth when running.
To conclude, the compact size means this is a go anywhere
motorhome, ideal for the back roads of the UK or even over to the Continent for
day trips or for extended holidays.
