As in the best level of product or highest level of service and systems that a company could provide in its own field or area. Benchmark status is difficult to achieve. Not a criteria that a company can bestow upon itself. Benchmark is observed and given by the client base, users, or customers, based on how the service was delivered and perceived throughout a business transaction.Motorhome Depot are Benchmark. They lead the way. Mark Allen is likely to be their Benchmark representative. Everything Mr Allen said he would do, he delivered.A detailed review of our motorhome, camera views that I never thought of myself, an efficient, accurate and effective description of our vehicle, and commitment to bring all prospective buyers in person to see the motorhome, and present it on our behalf. He even collected our buyers from Exeter Station and drove them an additional hour to meet us on site. A meeting of prospective buyers by introduction can only be the best way.Why not sell privately?We presented on national websites and had to deal with "I'm not a tyre kicker" multiple times. Rest assured, after 3 hours and some very impertinent interactions, such as me saying "Dennis, just to confirm the (£35,000!!!) vehicle is parked in reverse gear". I had parked it on a slight upward incline in front of a wall "Yes! yes! I know I know. Can you leave us to look inside now please"? Evicted from our own abode three times by them. It was too much.Mark contacted me, we got together, he reviewed the vehicle and we went ahead. It's because Motorhome Depot pre select and match their buyers and sellers that they already know that the viewing is likely to be successful, and the value of that service is worth every penny of not having to deal with the amateur buyers who think they know more than the owner. Consider also that the motorhome had been on the market for 2 months. Mark had it viewed, once and sold on that viewing. I think it was sold in 3 weeks. That is why I chose to stop selling privately. For the reduction of work and the reduced time to sell.
