Westfalia
are renowned for their innovative conversions, and the Nugget Plus is no
exception. The tailgate when opened reveals a beautifully designed kitchen, which
has a space saving work surface installed fridge, a two-ring gas hob and a
round stainless-steel sink with a mixer tap. Ample storage cupboards and
drawers are available, utilizing all the useable the space. The essential fixed
Thetford toilet is situated at the rear, with a hinged lid when not in use.
The Nugget
Plus can sleep four people with a generous sized double bed in the pop-up roof
and a rock-n-roll double bed, providing a further large double. Unusually, two sliding
side doors have been fitted to the Ford Transit with the offside providing
access to the rear of the Campervan. As would be expected in this high spec vehicle,
the cab is very well equipped with two heated swivel seats, cruise control, cab
air-con, a 6-speed Automatic gearbox, Ford Media Centre with Sat Nav /reversing
camera/Bluetooth/usb and apps, a multi-functional steering wheel and electric
mirrors and windows.
Externally, we have a detachable tow bar with electrics, a Westfalia awning, running boards, hook-up point, black gloss spoke wheels and a shower point accessible from the tail gate. The Nugget also has diesel heating and hot water provided with the possibility of off-grid living with the provision of lithium batteries, combined with portable or roof installed solar (not included). This is possible by utilizing the pre-installed electronics and lithium battery compartment, which would then be in addition to the leisure battery already provided.
