Kon-Tiki 660, 2006 model, on a Fiat Ducato 2.8 TDI with 5-speed manual gearbox,
first registered on 12th May 2006, 52,043 miles, a full service carried
out on 3rd March 2022, MOT to 6th July 2022. A new clutch
was fitted in 2021, new starter motor in 2020 and new PAS rack in 2022. There is no service book but there are many service receipts.
Habitation service carried out on 4th March 2022, paperwork will come with the van.
- Using the
electric step, enter the motorhome and the bright and airy lounge and dining
area is to your left, with parallel sofas that easily convert into a double bed
in the evening. A large folding dining table stores away in the wardrobe when
not in use. Both front seats swivel to face the hab area, there are upper aircraft style lockers and under seat storage
available, a built-in slide-out wine rack, a sunroof plus two large windows that
flood the lounge with plenty of natural daylight.
- Above the
cab there are lockers, where bedding could be stored during the day.
- The kitchen
is well specified with a dual fuel cooker that has three gas burners and an
electric hotplate, gas grill and oven beneath, a round stainless-steel sink
with chrome mixer tap, plus a loose plastic draining board and chopping board, a
built-in Dometic three-way powered fridge with an auto-power selector mode, a
built-in Sanyo microwave oven, plus plenty of cabinets and cupboards to store away
all of your holiday provisions.
- The washroom
has a separate shower cubicle with smoked perspex revolving shower door, a
Thetford cassette swivelling toilet with electric flush, plus a built-in
washbasin with chrome mixer tap, double mirror above and cabinet below.
- The main feature is the rear fixed double bed, which raises to reveal a large storage area, which can also be accessed via an external locker door. There is a sunroof and a window providing plenty of light, upper aircraft style lockers and a TV cabinet with concertina door.
- Truma
combi-boiler, which is working on electric but not gas, not too much of a
problem if you stay at camping sites with a mains hook-up. An engineer believes
that the gas solenoid valve has seized and needs replacing.
- Wood effect flooring with loose-fit carpets, blown-air central heating, black-out blinds and fly-screens throughout. A large wardrobe with hanging rail, which also houses the dining table when not in use.
- The cab has
a CD Tuner, reversing camera monitor, two swivelling seats, built-in privacy blinds to the windscreen and
side windows, electric windows, mirrors and central locking. Two sets of keys are provided.
- Outside you
have a Fiamma wind-out sun canopy, tv aerial, folding rear ladder to access the
roof, reversing camera, several storage lockers and a gas locker with two
bottles included, alloy wheels and an underslung spare-wheel.
- A brand-new
leisure battery is being fitted.
- Two folding bikes
that fit into the external locker beneath the bed are available by separate negotiation
with the owner.
