Everything about this motorhome shouts class and sophistication from the elegant styling, the wonderful layout and of course Rapido's famous build quality. This is the Design Edition which comes packed with an impressive array of extras. It is built on the class-leading Fiat Ducato chassis and has the superb 2.3 litre engine which provides plenty of power and excellent fuel economy. In the cab you have a multi-media system with a radio/cd/reversing camera/Bluetooth combination. You also have cab air-conditioning, power windows and mirrors, 2 swivel seats, rear air suspension, driver and passenger airbags and full cab privacy blinds.
Behind the cab is the lounge dinette which has an L shaped sofa on one side and a side facing sofa on the other and these are finished in a very stylish cream leather. There is a large multi-directional dining table and once the 2 front seats have been swivelled around you can seat 6 people in real comfort. The L shape sofa is fitted with 2 seat belts. Above the lounge you have a drop-down bed which measures 73 x 50 inches and when not in use this simply stores away in the ceiling to free up your living space.
The mid-kitchen has a 3 gas burner hob, a gas oven and grill, a large fridge freezer, a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap and a generous amount of cupboard and locker space to store your groceries. Also, unlike in many motorhomes you have a substantial amount of plug sockets. Then at the rear of the motorhome you have a superb bathroom which features a large separate shower on one side and a wash basin, cassette toilet and bathroom storage cupboards on the other side.
Then we come to another one of the standout features of this vehicle which is the highly desirable island bed layout which means you or your partner can get in and out of bed during the evening without climbing over each other. This bed measures 76 x 54 inches and sits above the huge garage undernearth.
The owner has had Gaslow fitted which saves you around 70% on your gas costs. When you are touring around the continent you simply find an LPG pump and pump the gas straight in rather than having to find somewhere where you have to exchange a gas bottle and this makes touring abroad so much easier. On board do you have two leisure batteries, a solar panel and externally there is a tow bar, a wind out awning and a bike rack for 2 cycles. This stylish motorhome also has alloy wheels, attractive body graphics and a very elegant silver cab. It comes with a full set of carpets and it had a habitation check in March which it passed with flying colours.
