A very capable and competitively priced A Class motorhome 5 seat belts and 5 berths, and with a 3500 KG rated unladen load. It is a 1998 model, registered in the UK in 2003. Being a right hand drive model it is ideally suited to exploring the UK and further afield too.
This A Class has an MOT until August 1919. It has covered 73k miles, and has a great history in terms of paperwork and bills. It was originally registered in France and has had only 2 registered UK owners, since 2003.
The drop down cab bed, with central sleeping area number 2 with double and single bed options within a short wheelbase is a very flexible layout. The kitchen area is situated just beyond the central seating group and the washroom and loo are at the rear of the motorhome. The front drive and passenger seats swivel to extend the dining and seating area.
There is a recently fitted towing A Frame arrangement and a Smart car to accompany the motorhome if required, at extra cost.
Elsewhere, there is blown air heating, hot water, a 3 way fridge, 3 burner hob, a grill and good onboard and underseat clean and waste water tanks. The shower cubicle is screened off from the washroom and loo.
The owners previous to the present owner were heavy smokers. Whilst all smells have been banished there is discoloration to the ceiling which would benefit from being recovered. Some curtains have also been removed for the same reasons. All in all, easy to remedy. There is a solar panel to trickle charge the vehicle battery. All of the windows, catches, blinds and fly screens work as they should. The upholstery and cushions are clean and firm respectively. The cab is a bright airy place to be with the large screen. There is a newly fitted and wired towbar for the A Frame. The 2.5 litre turbo diesel engine is by Peugot. The length is 22 feet six inches, and width is 7 feet 8 inches which does not include mirrors. These measurements correspond to approximately 6.9 and 2.4 metres. A reversing camera with in cab monitor is fitted and working. There is a self tuning satellite system installed. There are numerous above and below shoulder height cupboards and storage options as well as under seat space too.
The V5 is present, and there are 2 sets of keys. A smaller reserve and a larger main gas bottle are present. An aftermarket alarm is fitted and working, which covers the whole vehicle, not just the cab.
The decals and graphics are prone to fade and these have been replaced with a bill to confirm.
For relatively little input and cost, this motor home is considered to be great value for money vehicle. An extended picture file is available on request.
