Every once in a while a motorhome comes along that seems to blow the competition out of the water. The Hymer Exsis-i 580 is that motorhome. It's outstanding good looks are complemented by its luxurious interior to ensure that every journey is a 5 star experience. The state-of-the-art lightweight body ensures that even though you have all the facilities onboard that you could ever wish for you still have a generous payload of around 600 kg. Built on the superb Fiat Ducato chassis this gorgeous motorhome has the upgraded 180 bhp engine that powers along motorways and climbs hills with ease. Sit back and enjoy the superb automatic transmission and cruise control while you travel to your destination in comfort. In the cab you have air con, a Zenec navigation system which was a £1500 optional extra, permanent and rear view cameras, a Cat 1 alarm and a Tracker.
Above the cab is a huge drop down bed measuring 72 x 60 inches with a superb foam mattress. The bed drops down very low and there is a small ladder if you should need it. At the rear is the other bed which can be used as 2 singles or one massive double that measures 80 x 74 inches. This extra large bed is easily accessible via the new fold-out comfort steps with non-slip coating. Under the beds are large storage cupboards.
Just behind the cab is the lounge dinette. Here you have a really comfortable L-shaped sofa finished in a high-quality grey fabric. The forward facing seats are fitted with two seatbelts giving you four in total for the motorhome. The multi-directional dining table can be navigated into a variety of positions depending on how many guests you have around the table. Once you have spun the two front seats around you can sit up to 5 people in comfort for drinks or meals. A 32" flat screen TV is blended perfectly into a recess in the bathroom wall ensuring an excellent view from all angles.
Unlike many German models this Hymer comes with an oven and grill and it also has a 3 gas burner hob so rustling up a nice meal shouldn't pose any problems. You will also benefit from a full length 142 litre fridge freezer so you have plenty of room to keep those beers and wines nicely chilled. The kitchen does have a suprisingly large amount of storage space for your pots and pans and crockery.
Opposite the kitchen is the ultra stylish bathroom featuring a large shower with a Perspex screen, a Thetford cassette toilet with electronic flush, a wash basin with mixer tap and a large mirror. Two bathroom cupboards provide ample storage room for your toiletries.
Luxury is the name of the game with this motorhome and it comes with a very high level of specification. On board you have a self-seeking satellite dish, 2 Varta leisure batteries, a shower attachment located in the garage, a Thule wind out awning, a bike rack for 4 cycles and automatic changeover on the gas bottles with a crash sensor.
