Based on the 6.8 litre Ford V-10 E 450 Super Duty chassis this
van not only has plenty of pull but with petrol/LPG options also provides cost
effective travel. It is an automatic with
cruise control and air-conditioning, allowing you to concentrate on the road –
it is a 32-footer, so you do need to concentrate.
Let’s deal with the most important bits for a Race Van. It has a huge garage with full aluminium chequerboard
floor, numerous tie-down points and would be suitable for bikes, karts and even
small cars. Access is through the rear
roller-shutter door and a bike ramp is included in the sale.
Outside there is a heavy-duty GH Race Awning with sides and
tie downs. At 7m by 3m there should be
more than enough space to work on your vehicles or just for entertaining. There is also an external shower unit which can
be used to wash off the worst of the race-dirt.
The living area has a side dinette and opposing sofa, so loads
of room to hang-out. At night this
converts into a double and single bed, with a further large double over the
cab. There are also 6 seat belts in
total, so everyone can travel with you.
There is a habitation air-con unit to cool you down if needed. Also an Oyster satellite system, currently attached
to a Sky TV box (card needed).
The kitchen has 3-burner gas hob, combi microwave-oven and a
massive fridge with separate freezer – you don’t really need much more. Opposite the kitchen is a large washroom with
vanity sink unit, shower and toilet connected to the black waste tank.
