Based on an extra-long wheelbase 150bhp Fiat Ducato with SLIDEOUT this van offers easy manoeuvrability on the road but a surprising amount of space on the pitch. Wheelchair access is via a side-door electric ramp. There is a rear seat belt anchorage, but no tie-downs as the current owner transfers into the swivelling front seats for travelling.
The electric slide-out runs the length of the habitation area and allows for a long side sofa and space in front for a wheelchair to sit if necessary.
The compact kitchen is fitted with diesel hob, 12v compressor fridge and a sink. Heating and hot water is ran off diesel or mains electric when hooked up. There is no gas in this van – no heavy bottles to lump around and safe for oxygen users.
The rear nearside houses the washroom behind a tambour door with folding sink, Thetford toilet and showering facilities.
Sleeping is accommodated by the simple conversion of the lounge sofa, into a good-sized double and there is a slide out carers single bed at the rear of the van.
There is a Snipe Satellite dome fitted so you don’t miss any of your favourite programmes whilst travelling. A tow-bar is fitted.
