This is a very nicely presented 5 berth motorhome with 4 seat belts which would make a fantastic starter motorhome for a family or a couple looking to experience the fun and adventures that motorhome holidays bring. The upholstery is in remarkable condition for its age and is testament to how well this motorhome has been loved and cared for over the years.
Built on the excellent Peugeot boxer chassis this motorhome is powered by a 2.0 litre engine that provides plenty of power whilst being economical at the same time. It was first registered in May 2003 and has only covered 35,286 miles since. It was serviced on February 28th 2020 and it had a new cambelt and water pump fitted in July 2019 so the cambelt won't need replacing until 2024 at the earliest. It has a manual 5 speed gearbox and the owner has had reversing sensors fitted which really are an invaluable aid on a motorhome. The driving position is extremely comfortable and offers good visibility around the vehicle.
On entering the motorhome you have the ever popular end kitchen layout. Here you will find a gas oven and grill, a 4 gas burner hob, a 3 way fridge with ice box, a sink with mixer tap and storage space in the overhead lockers. Just behind where you stand to cook is a ground level cupboard which on top offers additional space to prepare food on. Next up is the washroom which has everything you need to keep yourself fresh as a daisy on your travels. A shower head is built into the tap, there is a cassette toilet, a wash basin with mixer tap, a mirror and a bathroom cupboard to store your toiletries.
Next to the washroom is a large full length cupboard which is great for hanging up clothes and provides additional storage space. We then come to the lovely lounge dinette which is flooded with lots of natural light, so whether you are dining or just relaxing with a drink this is a fantastic spot to while away the hours. There is a forward facing 2 seater sofa with 2 seat belts and a rear facing 2 seater sofa and these convert into a double bed at night. On the other side is a long side facing sofa which will also sleep one person. At meal times you can attach the dining table to the side rail and when you're finished if you don't need the table it stores away neatly in the cupboard. There is a TV/DVD player mounted on to a wall bracket that the seller is including in the sale. The other bed is above the cab and this measures approximately 82 x 64 inches so there is plenty of room for 2 adults to sleep comfortably.
Externally the motorhome has a bike rack for 2 bikes and if enjoy dining outside or just chilling out with a few drinks there is a wind out awning to shade you from the sun. On the roof there is a 100 watt solar panel providing a constant charge to your leisure battery and the motorhome is also fitted with air suspension although the current owner said that he has never used it. Also included in the sale which is a real bonus is a free safari room which pretty much doubles your living area. At 5.8 metres long you have a great mix of plenty of space to live in without it being too long to park easily or manoeuvre down country lanes so it really is a perfect starter motorhome.
