A lovely example of German engineering at its finest. This fixed French bed model of the Burstner Solano is based on a Fiat Chassis with a 2.3 TDI 130BHP engine in a 6 speed manual form. First registered in June 2007 with only 2 owners from new. The front seats have been covered since the current owners tenure and as such the upholstery is presented in really good order. With only 38410 miles from new it big has a file of local service history.
The chassis has a low step to enter but there is an additional portable step if required. The dinette is situated just to the right of the habitation door it has a fixed table with extending leaf to join a side seat. The front drivers and passengers seats also swivel round to join this area which will then comfortably seat 5. The forward facing passenger seats also have 2 x 3 point seat belts for travelling passengers. The table will also drop down to make and additional bed for 1 to 2 people.
The Kitchen area is just behind and consists if an L shaped worktop incorporating a round brushed metal finish sink & seperate drainer with chrome mixer tap. A 3 Gas Burner Hob with ample drawer & cupboard space above and below. Opposite there is Dometic Tec Tower with an Oven & grill over a large fridge with separate freezer compartment, this is an absorber type and can be powered by 240v, 12v or gas depending whether your are plugged in on site or wild camping.
The Main bed layout is a large double French bed which can be lifted for access to the underfloor storage and the Combi style Truma Boiler, heating is supplied by blown air.
The Bathroom is light & spacious, it has a Thetford Fresh water flush cassette toilet which can be sectioned off from the shower via perspex doors front and rear. There is a built in wash hand basin with Chrome mixer tap and separate cupboard above the toilet.
The cab benefits from air conditioning, electric front windows and central locking front. There are Remis blinds to the front & side windows. The head unit is a Blaupunkt CD Nav unit which gives direction via LCD arrow display. There is a Novus Rear view Camera display on the Dash top.
To the outside near side there is access to under floor locker space incorporating space for the leisure battery, fresh water fill point, ariel hook up and toilette cassette. Drivers side there is a large gas locker for two bottles & Access to the under bed storage.
GVW 3500Kg, Length 6.92m, Width 2.3m, Height 2.75m. This vehicle is under 3500Kg, which means that the vehicle can be driven on a full UK driving licence with no age restrictions.
