Benimar motorhomes are renowned for their contemporary European styling, impressive levels of specification and for being excellent value for money and this Mileo 294 has all of those attributes.
The stand out features on this delightful motorhome are the rear island bed and the drop down bed over the dinette. An island bed is one of the most sought after features with buyers at the moment as it means that if you need to pop to the loo in the early hours you don't have to climb over your partner to get out of bed. Having a drop down bed over the dinette which stores back up into the ceiling when not in use is a real perk and means that neither bed needs to be made up each day.
In the bedroom at the rear you have a large skylight throwing in plenty of natural light and there are overhead lockers as well as two wardrobes to store all of your clothing. The island bed is also height adjustable so if you need to get bikes in the garage below you can do this by simply raising the bed to increase the garage height. There is a wall mounted TV to enjoy television in bed and there is a USB charging point for your tablet. If you want a bit of space from the other passengers or children a sliding door comes across to give you complete privacy.
As you exit the bedroom on the left hand side you have a split bathroom with a Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush, a wash basin with mixer tap, a mirror and storage cupboard, and on the right you have a large separate shower with a perspex screen and a skylight, so if you enjoy wild camping you can keep yourself smelling fresh as a daisy.
If you enjoy cooking then you will love the kitchen as it has everything you need to create a tasty meal. There is a gas oven and grill, a dual-fuel hob with one electric hot plate and two gas burners, a microwave oven, a sink with mixer tap, a large fridge freezer with automatic selection and plenty of cupboard and drawer space to store your pots and pans.
Towards the front of the motorhome is the delightful lounge dinette which is a lovely place to relax in after a day out. It features a forward facing two seater sofa fitted with 2 seat belts and there is also a side facing single chair. There is a multi-directional sliding dining table which also extends. Both front seats are swivel seats so these can be rotated to allow extra seating at mealtimes if required. There is yet another large skylight above the dinette which opens for you to enjoy fresh air while you relax and dine.
Driving this motorhome is a genuine pleasure. It is built on the acclaimed Fiat Ducato chassis and has the excellent 2.3 litre 150 bhp engine which has plenty of oomph but is still very economical to run. In the cab you have air con, driver and passenger airbags, a multi-media system with in-built sat nav and a reversing camera, power windows and mirrors, cruise control, steering wheel mounted controls, full cab privacy blinds and a USB charging point.
On top of this impressive specification this Benimar has a rear garage which is great for long term trips or holidays, an external BBQ point for al fresco dining, alloy wheels, a spare wheel and very stylish external graphics.
