As with all Benimar motorhomes this delightful Mileo 286 model looks fantastic both inside and out. With its low profile roof, stylish graphics and alloy wheels it really stands out from your average run-of-the-mill motorhome on the road. This one owner vehicle is a very reluctant sale due to health issues and has only covered 538 miles so it is like new but without the new price tag. The plastic protective covering is still on the carpets and the oven and hob are still gleaming.
At the rear is a large garage so you can pack up your belongings and go long term travelling if you so wish. The motorhome also has a wind out awning, a 150 watt solar panel and external shower and gas points for you to enjoy the outdoor life.
As you enter the motorhome the well appointed kitchen is on your right. It features a dual-fuel hob with an electric hotplate and 2 gas burners, a gas oven and grill, a full size 141 litre Thetford fridge freezer, a sink with mixer tap, a microwave and lots of cupboard and drawer storage space including a pull out sliding pantry cabinet so you have all the facilities that you need to rustle up a lovely meal. At the rear of the motorhome there is a large wardrobe and below this is a door giving you internal access to the garage. On the opposite side at the rear is the gorgeous bathroom which has a large separate shower with a screen, an electric flush toilet, a wash basin with mixer tap, a mirrored cabinet and a wardrobe. A large window and a skylight throw in plenty of natural light.
The lounge/dinette comprises of an L shape sofa one side fitted with 2 x 3 point seat belts and a side facing sofa on the opposite side. At night time these convert into a double bed. Above this area stored neatly away flush to the ceiling is an electric drop down double bed which is one of the standout features of this delightful motorhome. Pop up the freestanding dining table, spin both the front seats round and you have comfortable dining or drinks for up to 7 people.
Driving this Benimar is an absolute dream. It's built on the renowned Fiat Ducato chassis and has a 150 bhp engine with a manual 6 speed gearbox. The driver has the benefit of air conditioning, cruise control, ABS brakes, ESP Traction Control and Hill Assist, driver and passenger airbags, power windows and mirrors, steering wheel mounted controls and a multi-media system including a radio cd, sat nav, phone compatability and a reversing camera.
There is a scratch on the windows where the owner caught an overhanging branch but other than that the motorhome is in excellent condition.
