The Benimar Mileo 231 is a very classy, compact and popular 2 berth motorhome. This Mileo is built on the Fiat Ducato with the 2.3 Multi-jet diesel engine, upgraded to 150 bhp and the automatic gear box. It has only had 1 owner from new, has an MOT till 19 Oct 2022, has a good hab check record. This 2 berth has only 9970 miles on the clock, was last serviced at 5013 miles, has 4 belted seats - all tyres are Michelin.
At the rear, is a hinged double fixed bed, with lots of storage underneath - accessible from a rear outside hatch. There are 4 over head storage lockers with railed storage areas above. Also books and magazines can be stored within the head board. Adjacent to this, is the washroom, 2 solid bi-fold doors come into play to create a separate central shower, with wooden duck board and dual plug holes. We have an electric flush toilet, wash basin with mixer tap, storage cabinets and mirrors.
Moving up on the nearside is the kitchen area, with stainless steel sink and mixer tap, 2 gas hob and 1 electric hot plate. The oven/grill is large and very clean. There is good storage above and below. Opposite is a wardrobe and good size Thetford fridge freezer with microwave and storage above. The fridge is 3 way and automatic self seeking, it is light in colour to match the cabinets. Fitted above this area, centrally is a powerful 2 way fan.
The lounge/dinette area is very comfortable especially when the cab seats are swiveled round.
Most owners of this model found the original dining table too large & restrictive, therefore, many owners have modified. Our owner has fitted a nice slimline table and it is definitely an improvement. However, the original has been kept and can be re-installed if required. Both dining seats are belted and there is also a side seat. We have a posh glass cabinet with a wine box for 4 bottlles (very nice feature). Heating/hot water is Truma on gas and electric.
The cab is tidy and fitted with front and side blinds. The whole motorhome has blinds and fly screens including sky lights and habitation door. Features include: solar panel, heated waste water tank, bbq point, external shower point, wind out canopy, tow bar, cruise control, cab air con, reversing camera, hill assist, DAB radio, USB points, strip & mood lighting, 2 x gas bottles and a spare wheel. All in all, a perfect compact 2 berth tastefully designed with that all important rear fixed bed. The length is 5.95 metres, width is 2.30 metres with mirrors folded and height is 2.89 metres.
