This Auto-Trail Excel 670B was the top of the range Excel model in its day. Built on the excellent Fiat Ducato chassis and powered by the superb 2.2 litre Multijet engine, this motorhome cruises on motorways and pulls up and down hills with effortless ease whilst still delivering very impressive fuel economy figures.
This a low profile model which is which is 6.72 metres long and 2.23 metres wide. Externally it looks really stylish with its blue cab and eye-catching graphics. It has a large wind out awning and a towbar fitted with full electrics. There is an external locker at the rear providing a decent amount of storage space underneath the bed. At the advertised price the seller will also include a large Thule storage box which is very useful if you plan on going on long trips.
On entering the motorhome you are immediately struck by how light and airy it feels. The layout is particularly well-designed allowing passengers to move around the motorhome very easily which cannot be said for all motorhomes. At the rear you have the pleasure of a fixed French bed so there is no need for the daily palaver of making up a bed and putting it away. There is generous storage space in the overhead lockers and the sleeping area has a window with a fly screen and blind. The bed lifts up to provide further storage space if required. Next to the bedroom is the well appointed bathroom which features a shower with a screen, a Thetford cassette flush toilet, a wash basin with mixer tap, a large mirror and even a bathroom window.
The mid-kitchen has everything a budding chef requires to rustle up a gastronomic delight. There is an oven and grill, a 3 gas burner hob, a large 190 litre 3 way fridge freezer with auto setting, a microwave, a sink with mixer tap and plenty of cupboard and drawer space for your utensils and ingredients.
The lounge area is sensational and is full of light thanks to the large windows and skylight. It features 2 side facing sofas which are finished in a stylish grey fabric that is pleasing to the eye and there is storage space underneath these. The 2 sofas have pull outs underneath which convert easily and quickly in to a double bed. For meal times there is a freestanding dining table and when not in use it stores away in a small cupboard. Above the cab is a drop down TV which is also included in the sale. The cab has a manual 5 speed gearbox, cruise control, electric windows, a DAB radio cd with Bluetooth, driver and passenger airbags, a reversing camera and 2 swivel seats.
