Alloy wheels, cruise control and a nice green blue paintwork finish....This is the 2.5 litre TD engine and 5 speed gearbox and reportedly gives up to 45 MPG on restrained A road runs. A tow bar is fitted and the single rear door hinges on the top edge. There is a tow bar and electrics to enable a trailer to be used for extra carrying capacity. Or a ball hitch mounted cycle rack could be fitted.
This variant has an above cab area which stores the boards to install in the high top to sleep 2 children, or a small adult. Meanwhile the sofa and single seat in the middle of the vehicle go end on the two swivelled front seats to give good beds for 2 adults or a double can equally be configured using the pull out slider to bridge the gap.
There is hot air Truma powered gas heating. To the rear there is a wet room with a Thetford loo and fold up sink to the nearside of the vehicle and a large storage cupboard to the offside. The middle section is effectively a shower tray and duck board, which is in good order with no cracks. Externally there is an Fiamma awning fitted.
The high top is made from GRP, and offers in the region of 6 feet of headroom in the central section. It has opening side windows with screens and blinds to lose heat in the hotter weather and there are sliding and windows with blinds and screens to the main rear section. There is a surprising amount of storage and if the upper section is not being used for sleeping small people, the front part can accommodate a variety of items.
The upholstery is firm and in good order.
There is a privacy screen arrangement to the main area of the vehicle, with 2 doors which pull across to meet in the middle to shield the rear washroom and loo from view.
A hob and grill together with a sink enable self catering and there is central single pole mounted swivel top table. The sink is of a good size, and has hot and cold water mixer taps. The front seats both swivel, which when combined with the bench and single seat by the side door provide enough space for 4 persons to sit.
Externally there is no evident corrosion and the underside is clean, and the full MOT confirms that this is in sound condition.
The Auto Sleepers graphics and decals have faded and peeled in some parts but replacements can be purchased and applied.
There are 2 small holes to the upholstery to the passenger seat. The present owner has a quote for £800 to redo all of the upholstery.
