Topaz, 2004, 2 Berth, on a Volkswagen 2.5 Turbo Diesel with manual gearbox. First

- Open the side sliding door and you enter the lounge and dining
area, with two upper opening windows and a roof vent that floods the van with plenty
of natural daylight. A side sofa and a forward-facing seat, which has a
three-point seatbelt. You can make up two single beds or a large double bed to
suit, the two front seats swivel to face the habitation area. A large and a
small dining table are stored away when not in use.
- The kitchen has a large stainless-steel sink with draining
board, chrome mixer tap and a wooden pop-up cover, below is a Dometic three-way
powered fridge with ice-box, plus storage cabinets above and below. Opposite is
a stainless-steel hob with two gas burners and a wooden pop-up cover, a gas

provisions.
- The washroom has a Thetford cassette toilet, a good-sized shower
tray, a fold-down washbasin with chrome mixer tap, upper mirrored cabinet, a
shower handset with separate tap, plus there is a tall wardrobe with hanging
rail and an additional upper storage locker. There are two sliding doors to section off the washroom.
- The rear tailgate opens upwards and makes a great canopy to sit
under and watch the world go by or to enjoy the evening sunset.
- The cab has power assisted steering, alarm system, CD Player with
DAB Tuner, USB and iPod inputs, central locking, electric windows and mirrors. A reversing camera has been included by the owner free-of-charge.
- Eberspacher Airtronic diesel powered blown-air central heating
system, Truma hot water heating on gas and electric, black-out blinds and
fly-screens throughout. There is a large over-cab locker to store the additional bed
cushions and your bedding when not in use.
- Outside you have alloy wheels with good tyres, tow bar with
electrics, a roof mounted TV aerial and a fantastic large rear upward opening
door to sit under in rain or shine. With the rear door open you can access the
Thetford cassette locker and the gas locker, which has two provided bottles.
The lacquer above the cab and roof is peeling, which could easily be rectified. There is an awning rail fitted so you could attach an awning when at a campsite to give a lot of additional space.
