This superb 2018 Chausson Welcome 530 Automatic packs an incredible amount into just 5.99 metres. Compact enough to drive and park with ease – even for a first-time motorhome owner – yet impressively spacious inside, it is a brilliant choice for everything from spontaneous weekends away to extended touring.
The automatic gearbox, reversing camera, cruise control and cab air conditioning make travelling especially relaxed, while its sub-6-metre length means it will fit on most residential driveways.
Inside, the clever layout makes excellent use of the available space. The bright front lounge offers comfortable seating around an electric height-adjustable dining table, with both cab seats swivelling around to create a sociable living area. Full cab privacy blinds make it easy to settle in for the evening, while the contemporary interior gives the motorhome a light and welcoming feel.
At the touch of a button, the electric drop-down double bed lowers above the lounge to provide a generous sleeping area, then disappears back into the ceiling during the day. The lounge sofas also convert into a second double. With four berths and four travelling seat belts, the Welcome 530 offers impressive versatility without sacrificing living space.
The well-equipped kitchen is complemented by the excellent Chausson Easy Chef slide-out external BBQ / griddle, perfect for cooking outdoors on warm evenings. A wind-out awning extends the living space outside, making this an especially enjoyable motorhome for summer touring.
At the rear is a large external storage compartment with plenty of room for outdoor furniture and touring equipment, while the washroom benefits from a large separate shower – a particularly impressive feature in a motorhome of this size.
A solar panel supports off-grid touring, while the powerful Webasto diesel heating makes the motorhome comfortable throughout the seasons. A Thatcham alarm adds further peace of mind.
With just one owner from new, a habitation check completed in September 2026 and a recent service, this is a very appealing motorhome for someone who wants to simply get in and start enjoying it.
There are a few minor cosmetic marks on the exterior and some minor peel of a few graphics but overall this Motorhome is presented in very nice condition and will make a fantastic touring partner for a couple or a family of four.
