A great example of one of Bürstner's flagship models, the Elegance I 821, built on the ever-popular Fiat Ducato chassis. With a gross vehicle weight of 5000kg, a C1 licence is required to drive this 2.8 diesel with 5-speed manual gearbox. The current owner bought it in Germany as an ex-demo model in this limited-edition exterior colour, and has owned it ever since. The vehicle has been serviced regularly by the client's mechanic, with the cam belt replaced in 2024 and the leisure batteries renewed in March 2025. It shows 89,005 miles (143,239 km) on the clock and has a fresh MOT until April 2027.
The cab benefits from: power assisted steering; air conditioning; electric window (front driver's side); electric mirrors; colour reverse camera screen; blinds to front & side windows.
We enter the motorhome on the driver's side (UK). Immediately to the right of the habitation door is the dinette, which consists of a two-seater side sofa, with a large L-shaped sofa opposite. The forward-facing part has 2 x 3-point lap and diagonal seat belts for travelling passengers. The L-shaped sofa converts into a double bed at night if the original table is used (currently removed in favour of a portable one). The front two seats rotate to join this area, so you could easily seat 6 people around the table if entertaining on site. Over the cab is a large full-width double bed that drops down from overhead and can be accessed using a removable ladder. There is a TV point behind the dinette with a Cello flatscreen TV.
Continuing towards the rear is the galley kitchen, which consists of a stainless steel bowl-shaped sink with chrome mixer tap. There is a full-size oven & grill, and a 4-burner gas hob, with plenty of cupboard and drawer space for all your holiday provisions. Adjacent to the kitchen is the large Dometic fridge with separate freezer box — this is an absorption unit and can run on 240v, 12v, or gas automatically, depending on whether you're plugged in on site or wild camping. Above the fridge is a microwave for use on site.
Opposite is the all-in-one bathroom area, which is spacious and has a separate shower cubicle. There is a built-in white sink with chrome mixer tap, and cupboards above and below for all your hygiene items. Further back is a large hanging wardrobe.
Finally, there's the large transverse rear double bed over the garage, accessed via removable steps.
Heating and hot water are supplied by the Alde heating system, a wet system like the one in your home. This, combined with the twin floor construction, gives excellent thermal qualities for wintering.
Condition: Exterior - The UK passenger side - the paintworks lacquer has dulled with the sun it would come back with a buff up but probably not stay.
Roof has some lacquer peel.
Inside - I would say is exceptional for its age - it has benefitted from being re leathered in recent years but looks modern & up to date. All the interior lights have been changed up for LED & strip lights have been added throughout for a warm light.
MOT - There are a few advisories on the last certificate - the owner will attend to some of the items if time allows.
Servicing - done by family friend in his own time, so no company receipts.
Hab check - no hab checks done client has attended to items himself.
