The Benimar Primero range has become hugely popular thanks to its clever use of space, practical layouts and compact dimensions, making them equally at home touring the UK or navigating tighter roads and campsites. At just 5.99 metres in length, this earlier, more compact version of the Primero 283 is easy to drive and park, yet still offers an impressive rear lounge layout with four travelling seats and three berths.
Having covered just 11,180 miles from new, this two-owner example is based on the reliable Fiat Ducato 2.3 MultiJet 130BHP engine paired with the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox. Mechanically it has been well maintained, benefiting from a recent service in June 2026, including replacement of the cambelt kit and tensioners. There is currently no recent habitation check, allowing the next owner the opportunity to commission one if desired.
Overall, the motorhome presents well for its age and mileage, although it would benefit from some cosmetic TLC in places reflected in the price. Nothing that detracts from its practicality, but the next owner may wish to attend to a few minor areas to bring it back to its very best.

Layout & Interior Features
Stepping into the motorhome you're welcomed by a bright and comfortable front lounge, with the cab seats swivelling to create an inviting social area. An occasional table sits neatly between the seats, making it the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or relax with a drink.
If required, this area also converts into an occasional child’s single bed, third berth.
Moving rearwards is the well-equipped central kitchen comprising a three-burner gas hob, stainless steel sink with chrome mixer tap, oven and grill, and an under-counter three-way fridge with freezer compartment, together with ample storage for all your touring essentials.
Opposite the kitchen is the washroom, featuring a cassette toilet, wash basin, separate shower cubicle and useful storage.
At the rear is one of the Primero 283's most popular features – a spacious rear lounge with two opposing sofas providing comfortable seating for up to four people. Large windows create a bright and airy living space, while the fitted Avtex flatscreen TV provides entertainment on those relaxing evenings away.
At night, the sofas simply pull together to form a generous rear double bed.
One particularly clever feature is the rear loading hatch, combined with the ability to fold the nearside rear sofa up out of the way. This creates an excellent load-through area capable of carrying longer items such as paddleboards, camping equipment or outdoor furniture.
