Motorhome Depot are pleased to bring to market this amazing Frankia Luxury Class i800 motorhome, packed with extras worth thousands of pounds,It is perfect if you plan to go touring as it has a whopping payload of around 1500 kg and it is totally self sufficient so the owner can go wild camping for weeks on end. So just where do we start trying to do it justice?
Well for starters it's built on the highly acclaimed Mercedes-Benz chassis and is powered by their exceptional 2.7 litre diesel engine that is both powerful and surprisingly economical with chain driven camshaft. GVW is 5990kg so C1 licence required and it is 8.2mtrs long The real benefit to the driver is the superb automatic gearbox and with the added luxury of cruise control Sony sound system with FM, DAB, Garmin truck/motorhome satnav, 2 x rear view/reversing cameras and 2 x side view cameras this motorhome is an absolute joy to drive.
Externally there are a host of features to enjoy, at the rear there is a large garage so you have loads of room to pack all your essential belongings which is also currently fitted with a ramp and remote control electric winch to carry a motorbike, detachable tow bar and a custom built rear subframe to facilitate the easy fitting of an external frame/platform/lift to carry a motorcycle externally. There are 2 x 11 kg Gas It bottles with gauges and also remote gauges reading inside the motorhome and via a phone app. A huge American style awning that was replaced in 2022 gives you a great area to relax in if outside living and dining is your thing. If you want to keep up with your favourite shows there is even a self seeking satellite dish. On the roof you have an incredible 360 watts of solar panels (2 x 140W solar panels for habitation use and an additional 80W panel dedicated to the engine battery) 3 x 220Ah habitation batteries with a 40A charger (so 660Ah total habitation battery capacity) with a 1600W pure sine wave inverter. There is a separate charger dedicated to the engine battery so if you want to go wild camping you have everything onboard to go off grid for weeks on end. With 6 good tyres (2 brand new 3PMSF) with 3 good spares. The wheels are fitted with Euroliner stainless steel trims.
Inside this Frankia at the rear is the main bedroom area where you have the option of a fixed rear transverse double bed or can be used as 2 great sized singles and plenty of cupboard and locker space to store all of your clothes. Next to the bedroom is a large separate shower and on the opposite side is the bathroom with a SOG, cassette toilet with electric flush, a wash basin with mixer tap, a large mirror and some storage space.
Next up as you move forwards is the kitchen with a 4 gas burner hob, a gas oven and grill, a sink with mixer tap and a large 160 litre Dometic 3 way fridge freezer with automatic selection and a microwave and plenty of cupboard/drawer space for all the essentials.
The interior was re-upholstered throughout in fantastic beige Bentley quilted leather and has matching curtains, cushions and the lounge has 2 side facing sofas and a huge dining table, with both being Captain Chairs they swivel around allowing 6 people to dine comfortably or in the evening it is a great space to relax and watch the built in Avtex Tv with soundbar as well as Mifi box. Above the cab you have a large drop down double bed that will easily sleep 2 adults and for further comfort there is privacy blinds for the windscreen and all cab windows, a diesel Webasto hot air heater as well as a Truma gas hot air heater/water heater which is also fitted with electric heating and the additional benefit of Dometic habitation air conditioning with a remote control.
All in all this Motorhome is in great condition, with multiple extras and comprehensive history/receipts available and needs to be enjoyed for years to come.
