Having only covered 84000 miles with 5 ownerw, this motorhome will come with a Febtuary 2027 MOT. The GVW is 280000kg with a payload of 500kg so it can be driven on a standard UK licence and is only 5.1m long so is very easy to handle.
Step back into the mid-1990s with a true milestone in British leisure history: the 1996 Swift Carrera 2-berth campervan. As Swift’s very first venture into the van conversion market, this iconic classic beautifully captures the beginning of Swift's campervan legacy. Built on the highly reliable, long-wheelbase Volkswagen T4 chassis with its dependable 2370cc diesel engine, it shook up the industry by packing a fully functional washroom, kitchen, and heating system into a agile, easy-to-drive frame. Far more than just a vintage camper, this first-generation Carrera represents a historic shift that paved the way for modern luxury road travel, making it a rare and character-filled prize for any classic enthusiast.
Build quality and design included a second floor, fully insulated and allowing the water pipes and electrics to run out of site. With 22mm of roof insulation and further insulation in the body panels, Swift created an all season camper. Kitchen facilites include a 2 burner gas hob, 3 way fridge (new), sink and drainer. An onboard washroom with flushable cassette toilet, drop down sink and shower feature provide all you need for home from home comfort.
Dinette provides a comfortable place to relax, dine and entertain and converts to provide 2 single beds (6'3" x 1'8" and 5'9" x 1'8") or a good sized double bed (6'3"/5'9" x 4'6"). Power provided by 230v electric hook-up, 12v leisure battery and twin gas bottles. A propex heater provides ducted air heating and hot water from a Cascade electric water heater. An 80 litre onboard water tank and grey waste tank are fitted.
