Exterior & Chassis
Finished in a purposeful satin military grey, this imposing machine commands respect wherever it goes. The bespoke coach-built living body sits on the legendary MAN KAT A1 8×8 chassis, riding on massive all-terrain tyres across all eight wheels with exceptional ground clearance. The dimensions, 12.5 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and 3.9 metres tall, make this a truly substantial home on wheels. A Rotzler Treibmatic winch is fitted for self-recovery in the most challenging terrain. Four solar panels are mounted to keep the system charged while off-grid.
Powertrain & Fuel
At the heart of this beast is a Deutz 320 V8 air-cooled diesel engine, legendary for its reliability and ease of maintenance anywhere in the world. With a manual gearbox and full 8×8 drive, there is virtually no terrain this vehicle cannot tackle. A massive 700 litre onboard fuel tank gives an extraordinary operational range, making remote destinations genuinely achievable.
Off-Grid Systems
This vehicle has been equipped to operate entirely independently for extended periods. The Webasto system covers the battery bank, heating, hot water, refrigeration and solar integration. A 4.3kW 285WP whisper generator provides mains level power whenever needed. Fresh water capacity is an astonishing 2,500 litres, with a matching 2,500-litre grey water tank and an 80-litre black water tank. A dedicated fresh water pump ensures consistent pressure throughout. USB points are fitted throughout the living space.
Step Inside: The Living Space
As you enter you are immediately struck by how spacious the interior feels. High-gloss white panels with warm oak trim run throughout, paired with wood-effect vinyl flooring.
Both the driver's cab and the living area benefit from Truma air conditioning, ensuring comfort in any climate.
The open-plan lounge and dining area features upholstered seating arranged around a large removable table, multiple opening windows for natural light, and a ceiling-mounted Truma air conditioning unit. CCTV coverage includes four external cameras serving the main bedroom area and three further cameras on the cab, providing full situational awareness at all times.
Kitchen
The fully equipped galley kitchen is a genuine highlight. It features solid wood worktops, a stainless steel sink, an induction hob, a Wallas diesel oven (perfect for off-grid cooking with no gas dependency), an Indel Webasto Isotherm double fridge-freezer with separate freezer drawer offering 320 litres of refrigeration, a microwave, and abundant overhead and under-counter storage with dedicated crockery cabinetry. This is a kitchen you can genuinely live out of, anywhere on the planet.
Bedroom
The separate rear double bedroom offers a large fixed double bed with overhead skylight, warm ambient lighting, bedside storage shelving and generous overhead cabinets. A privacy curtain separates the sleeping area from the main living space, creating a proper sense of home.
Bathroom
The bathroom features a large rainfall style thermostatic shower with chrome fittings and a handheld head, a Dometic cassette toilet (80-litre black water tank), a pedestal wash basin with chrome mixer tap, a large mirror and a chrome heated towel rail. Hotel-quality comfort, in the most remote locations on earth.
The Driving Experience
Climb up into the high set cab and you'll find a leather-trimmed driver's seat, the iconic MAN KAT instrument cluster with its array of military-spec switches and controls, and commanding all round visibility.
