The vehicle is MOT’d to December 26 and been fully serviced and habitation checked. It’s built on the Fiat Ducato chassis and has 22,500 miles on the clock. There is a smooth 2.3 litre, 130bhp engine and 6 speed manual gearbox which provides comfort and power in equal measure to augment the driving experience.
The van comes with cab air conditioning, sat nav, cruise control, parking sensors, DAB radio, Apple Car Play, Android Auto and reversing camera making it an absolute joy to drive.
The Globecar has a practical and appealing living space which is made up of a front facing double seat and dinette style extendable table. The driver and passenger captain seats can be simply swivelled around to create a great place to relax. The front 'comfort' seats have armrests on both sides. The living space seats also convert into the 3rd bed when required.
There is a very practical kitchen area featuring a hob with 2 gas burners, sink with mixer tap and fridge/freezer. There is generous cupboard, drawer storage and worktop space.
The van also has a separate washroom with swivelling Thetford flush cassette toilet and vanity sink on one side of the van and a sizeable shower room directly opposite. The wooden doors on both cubicles open independently in order to:
1) Close off the bedroom from the rest of the van, so the party doesn’t have to end when one of you hits the sack.
2) Close off the kitchen/diner in order to create an en suite bedroom.
3) Close off both the front and rear of the van to leave a fully featured central washroom.
Both cubicles also have tambour doors, so you don’t run the risk of flooding the bathroom when showering. The shower cubicle is a super-handy space, thanks to its flexible design.
At the rear, the van has a XXL fixed transverse style double bed (6ft 5 x 5ft 4). With the middle section removed, either side can then be easily lifted in order to access all of the van's vitals that live under here. There’s a 100-litre fresh water tank that has two draining modes so you can leave 20 litres in reserve, in case you want to stop for a cuppa while on the road. There’s also a 92-litre waste water tank and Truma Combi 4 heating.
The gas bottle (2 x 11kg) compartment is accessed from the back of the van, via the barn doors. Above the bed, there are cupboards on both sides as well as at the back, which are deep enough to give quite a bit of storage room. There’s a tinted window on the nearside and this has shelving above it, adorned with several LED lights of both the spot and the movable variety.
Externally the Globecar has a full length Fiamma wind-out canopy awning, electric hook up and twin bike rack.
In summary this is an absolutely fantastic campervan that gives you everything you need to enjoy amazing trips away.
