Auto Trail Excel 675B coachbuilt motorhome on a Ford Transit chassis, first registered September 2024. Powered by a 1995cc diesel engine with automatic transmission, diesel fuel and right hand drive. One owner from new with 9,729 miles recorded. The vehicle has a maximum authorised mass of 3500kg and can be driven on a standard Category B licence. Overall length is 6.75m and width is 2.66m including mirrors.
This motorhome is configured as a 2 berth with 2 belted travelling seats, reduced from the original 4 as part of the off grid electrical upgrade installation. The front lounge area is formed by the two swivel cab seats and opposing seating. This area converts into a double bed at night, with upgraded seat cushions that also provide a more comfortable sleeping surface when used as the bed mattress.
The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge freezer, oven, two gas burners and one electric hob, sink and storage cupboards. Toward the rear is a full width washroom featuring a cassette toilet, separate shower, wardrobe and multiple storage lockers. Internal access is provided to the rear garage which offers additional storage space.
Cab and driver features include Ford cab air conditioning, reversing camera and satellite navigation with pre programmed campsites. The motorhome also includes heating, TV aerial with signal booster, onboard WiFi system, two swivel cab seats, and is supplied with two sets of keys.
Externally the vehicle is fitted with an awning rail, external BBQ point and external shower connection. A towbar with 13 pin socket is also fitted. The motorhome is supplied with a gas bottle.
Security Upgrades
This motorhome has been fitted with additional security equipment including window latch security devices, Van Guardian motion alarms fitted to the cab and habitation doors, deadlocks fitted to the front cab doors, Fiamma security locks fitted to the habitation and garage doors, and a pedal lock box.
Off Grid Electrical System
The motorhome benefits from a professionally installed off grid electrical system designed to support extended independent use. This installation includes four solar panels producing a combined 520 watts with MPPT regulator, a 230Ah lithium battery, Victron Multiplus 1600W inverter, Victron Orion 50A DC to DC charger and a Victron Energy GX Touch control panel for monitoring and control.
