Located in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, this 2007 Auto-Trail Apache 700SE is a spacious 6 berth, 4 seatbelt coachbuilt motorhome built on the Fiat Ducato chassis with the 2.3L diesel engine and manual gearbox. With around 44,000 miles and 3 previous owners, it represents a well-specified example of this popular rear lounge model.
Measuring approximately 7.5 metres in length with a gross vehicle weight of 4,005kg, it offers substantial interior space and storage capacity for longer touring.
The layout is one of Auto-Trail’s most practical designs. At the rear is a large U-shaped lounge, creating a bright and sociable seating area during the day which converts into a generous double bed at night. Moving forward there is a centre dinette, providing an additional dining area that also converts into another double berth if required. Above the cab is a large over-cab double bed, allowing the motorhome to comfortably sleep up to six.
The kitchen is positioned centrally and is equipped with a 3 gas burner hob and 1 x electric ring, oven and grill, sink with drainer and fridge, providing practical cooking facilities for touring. Opposite sits the washroom, which features a separate shower cubicle, cassette toilet and basin, offering good separation of facilities.
The interior is finished in Auto-Trail’s light wood cabinetry, and the seating has been re-upholstered in a cream fabric, replacing the original dated red trim and giving the living space a brighter and more modern feel. Large windows and rooflights allow plenty of natural light throughout the habitation area.
This example benefits from a good touring specification including cab air conditioning, swivel cab seats, 2 x gas bottle, reversing camera, solar charging system with battery controller, satellite system, TV aerial, wind-out awning, electric step and rear bike rack. This motorhome also features an external BBQ point and shower connection, adding useful practicality when touring.
Based on visual inspection, the motorhome presents clean and tidy for its age with a bright interior and well-kept upholstery.
