Based on the Peugeot Boxer L4H2, it is powered by the reliable 2.0 HDi 130BHP engine and 6-speed gearbox. Having covered 97700 miles with 3 owners, it has some service history and is in good condition inside and out.The GVW is under 3500kg so it can be driven on a standard UK licence and is only 6.4m long so is very easy to handle.
This Peugeot Boxer was converted by the current owner to a high standard and the intention was to build a van that could go off-grid indefinitely.To achieve this, some excellent features have been added -
The current owner has been extremely pleased with the final build and informs me that it essentially will go off-grid indefinitely and there is no need for any gas bottles as the heat and hot water can be used via the diesel heater and all the electric power is supplied by the Solar panels and the inverter.There are multiple sockets are around the van along with touch-sensitive lighting.There is ample storage throughout the van along with an extremely useful garage via the double rear doors.
In the Cab we have AC and cruise control.The current engine was replaced at 80k so has done very little mileage
