This vehicle is less than 6m long and is based on the reliable Fiat Ducato 2.3 litre Multijet, Euro 6 engine with a six speed gearbox. It comes with the uprated chassis with a max gross weight of 3500kg and a payload of 649kg, 16inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, electric heated mirrors, sat-nav, DAB radio. It's been fitted with a new leisure battery.
Being manufactured in Germany the Carado is very well finished with comfortable seating and stylish fixtures and fittings. As you step into the habitation area using the sliding side door and the retractable electric entrance step, you will find the lounge / dining area at the front of the van. With both Captains seats swivelled it makes a very comfortable space for 4 people to relax and dine in. This area can also be used at night as a good size single bed complete with memory foam mattress for extra comfort. In the middle of the motorhome is the kitchen area complete with a 2-burner gas hob and stainless-steel sink with mixer tap. There is a good size worktop and plenty of storage lockers above and below. There is a 90 litre Thetford fridge with a detachable freezer compartment by the entrance door that is easily accessed from both inside and outside the van. The washroom is opposite the kitchen area and has a Thetford swivel cassette toilet with electric flush, corner washbasin with mixer tap that doubles as the shower head when required, shower curtain and large mirror. At the rear of the van things get very interesting with a number of different set-ups. You could choose to have both the lower and upper double beds in place, or just the lower double only or set it up as two single beds (short) or an extra area for dining utilising the two bench seats when required. You could even have the upper double in place and use the bottom area for extra storage space / dog kennel or make up the two single beds. It really is very well thought out and gives you so many different setups that will suit the single traveller just as well as the family of 4/5. A Truma Combi 6 diesel unit supplies the blown-air heating. Remis blinds are fitted to the cab windscreen and side windows and all other tinted windows have blinds and fly screens fitted as well as a fly screen fitted to the sliding-door entrance. Also comes with retractable bike rack.
