A fine example from one of Germany’s greatest Motorhome builders the Carthago C–Tourer T142 QB this motorhome wreaks of quality where others fail. Based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with the MultiJet 2.3 litre Euro 5 Diesel engine in its 130bhp form and the manual 6 speed gearbox. The cab benefits from: air conditioning; cruise control; electric windows front; electric adjustable heated mirrors; Pioneer single din CD head unit with DVD playback for TV; reverse camera screen; Remis blinds to front & side windows.
We enter the motorhome on the off side via an electric step immediately to the right is the dinette which comprises of an L shaped sofa immediately opposite, the forward facing part of the seat has two 3 point lap and diagonal seat belts for travelling passengers. To the right of the habitation door is a single seat ( also can be used as an occasional travelling seat ) & both the front seats rotate to join this area. You could easily seat 6 people round the table while entertaining on site. There is a pull up flatscreen TV from behind the single seat.
Moving rear is the galley style kitchen which comprises of a 3 Burner gas hob, round metal sink and chrome mixer tap. Above and below there is plenty of storage for all your cooking utensils. 12v extractor above the hob. Opposite is a large high level 160 litre Dometic fully automatic absorber fridge that can be powered by 240v, 12v or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping.
Opposite is the bathroom which has a Thetford Fresh flush cassette toilette with Swivel head, a Corian style molded sink unit with chrome mixer tap and a separate shower unit with circular Perspex doors to close.
Finally to the rear is the fixed transverse Queen bed over garage. This has a clever design that you can walk round the end of the bed to access the other side. Under the bed is a hanging wardrobe and some additional shelf space.
Heating and Hot Water is supplied by Truma Combi Boiler which supplies blown warm air.
Offside: larger side opening garage door; electric hook up point, electric step.
Near side: Locker with 2 leisure batteries, Gas locker with Gasit Refillable LPG system; Thetford Cassette locker, water fill point, small locker door to garage.
Rear: 2 bike rack; reverse camera.
