From under the Hymer umbrella comes this less well-known
make of a quality Motorhomes Laika, this model being the Kreos 5010 with Dolce Vita Pack. Laika are built in its own bespoke factory in Tuscany and is passionate about producing quality motorhomes which is evident in abundance in
this motorhome.
Based on the ever-popular Fiat Ducato chassis with
the 2.3ltr engine & 50bhp, Euro 6 emissions Comformatic 6 Speed Automatic gearbox
with the uprated heavy chassis plated at 4500kg. With two owners from new and with
a mileage of under 27,000 miles, the motorhome comes with a full service and habitation
history. The MOT is valid until April 2025 and the cambelt was changed in March
2023.
The cab benefits from; 16” Alloy wheels, LED
daytime running lights, Leather steering wheel and gear lever, Chrome surrounds
to instrument binnacle, DAB/FM radio/CD player with 5” touch screen monitor, sat
nav, Bluetooth phone, Aux In & USB connectivity, steering wheel controls, cruise
control, 7” reversing screen, Remis cab blinds to front & side windows, front
fog lights, electric front windows, central Locking, Electric & heated
Mirrors.
We enter the motorhome on the driver’s side via the electric entrance step and immediately to the right is the dinette with
a large L-shaped sofa, the forward-facing seats have 2 x 3-point seat belts for
the 2 rear travellers. A single side-facing sofa and the 2 Captain seats
complete the dining area along with the multi-directional table which
comfortably seats 6 for dining and entertaining. The table also drops down to
make up the occasional extra berth.
The second double bed drops down electrically from above the
dinette to shoulder height. It can be accessed by a removable ladder and there
are safety nets front and rear for young children.
The kitchen consists of an L Shaped Corian styled worktop
with a round brushed metal sink & chrome mixer tap, a sunken draining area
& 3 gas burner hob with 12v extractor above, a combined oven & grill, and a large 3-way fridge with a separate freezer. Under the counter are ample drawers
& cupboards for all your kitchen utensils.
The washroom can be separated from the front of the vehicle by a
solid door providing a perfect en-suite between the washroom, which consist of
a Thetford cassette toilet and built in sink and vanity unit with mirrored
cupboards and the separate shower cubicle with a hanging rail for wet clothes.
Moving to the rear there are hanging wardrobes on either side of the walkway and finally, the main Bedroom consists
of a large transverse rear bed which is accessed by fixed steps and is situated
above a very large garage, which can be accessed internally by a small locker
or by two large external doors.
Heating & Hot Water is supplied by Alde gas and electric wet
system which combined with the twin floor construction should keep you nice
& toasty even in -15 degrees outside.
