The original T2 was launched back in 1967 and is a classic campervan and although German production of the T2 ceased in 1979, the model continued to be built in South America until 2012. This being one of the last of its line. Converted by Danbury, this is the Classic model which includes the elevating roof providing 4 berths and the all important increased headroom, roof storage, 12V fridge freezer, 230V mains electric hook-up, 12V leisure battery, heated front and rear screens, wood effect lino flooring and anti-corrosion underseal.
Being a modernised iteration of the original classic, it comes with servo assisted front brakes, a 1390cc watercooled petrol engine delivering 78bhp through a 4 speed manual transmission. A modern Sony entertainment system is fitted up front providing bluetooth connection to your phone and Dab radio. A rear tow bar is included and ideal for fitting a tow bar mounted bike carrier.
All the classic looks and fitted out in a traditional style with side kitchen and storage including a 2 burner gas hob with grill under and the 12v fridge. The rear seat with 2 travel belts pulls out to create a large double bed sleeping area. There is under seat storage and a convenient pop up table top and leg to provide space for dining and entertaining.
