Up front the Hymer is powered by the rugged 2.8 Litre Fiat Ducato which runs exceptionally well with the five speed gearbox and aftermarket cruise control. At just 5.5 metres long and plated at 3500KG, the Hymer is easy to drive, rides well assisted by supplementary air suspension on the rear axle, plus it turns on a sixpence and can be driven on a standard car licence.
