You Can Still Buy or Sell a Motorhome with Motorhome Depot

Please read this update in the knowledge that your safety and wellbeing remains our primary concern. Having made that important point, we can confirm that you are still able to buy or sell a motorhome with Motorhome Depot under the current Coronavirus government tier regulations. We are able to continue trading whilst still complying with government guidelines. We explain how below. However, please read this guidance because you need to make some decisions about your own needs and actions.

Why Are Motorhome Depot Still Able to Trade?

We are not on the list of specific businesses that are being asked to suspend trading. Our brokers work from home and carry out work which they cannot do at home. This means they can travel to list and sell motorhomes and continue trading.

Holding Deposits

If you are in a tier 4 area, we are happy to accept a deposit on the motorhome you wish to buy. This will hold the motorhome for you until you are able to collect it.

Of course, to help you make the decision about whether a motorhome is right for you, our brokers will provide huge amounts of information to help you make that choice. This includes lots of additional images and they will speak to you over the phone to provide a full and impartial description.

Click and Collect

If you urgently require your motorhome and need to collect it immediately, the government guidelines say the following: "Non-essential retail....can continue to be able to operate click-and-collect and delivery services." Our normal method of operation falls within this click and collect description. You click on a motorhome on our website, receive full information, pay a deposit and then pay the balance on collection.

Do You Need to Travel?

The decision on whether you should travel is up to you. On the one hand the guidance says a click and collect service is acceptable for non-essential retail. On the other hand the government provides quite strict guidance on travel.
