This WildAx Callisto Independence features an electrically operated underfloor cassette lift to provide side door wheelchair access, which means that the area behind the cab remains available for use of the wheelchair tie down and seatbelt system or storage while travelling.
The cab seats can be rotated to face this leisure/dining area, which is augmented by an offside short sofa. The sofa can be extended to form an additional transverse berth.
Conveniently adjacent for food storage and preparation, there is a nearside central kitchen equipped with a sink, a hob with three gas burners, a combination oven/grill, and a fridge with a freezer box,
Opposite the kitchen is the central open wetroom, with a flush mounted extra strong shower tray that permits wheelchair access to the toilet, hand basin and a shower (which can be curtain screened for privacy), and rear lounge/sleeping area.
At the rear of the vehicle, which can also be accessed by the rear barn doors, the lounge area has opposing side sofas and a choice of central post-mounted removable table positions. The seating can be easily reconfigured into a transverse double bed. While the walkway between the seating has been designed to accommodate a mobility scooter or wheelchair, this area could be left to form a permanent rear berth.
