This is an absolutely stunning VW Transporter that has been professionally converted to an exceptionally high standard by Autohaus Campers based in Minehead. This particular camper has been built to their Camelot specification which sleeps up to 4 people and comes with custom toilet for personal privacy. This is a beautiful vehicle and has been kept in fantastic condition by the current owners.
The camper is based on the VW Transporter and this model has a 2l engine with automatic gearbox. It is fantastic to drive and comes will loads of extras including cab air conditioning, parking aid and adaptive cruise control that really lets you relax and enjoy the journey, even on the longest trips away.
The Camelot is a fantastic layout and one of the only ones that features your own custom toilet, offering personal privacy where ever you may be. At the front of the camper you have the two front leather driver and passenger seats and two rear single RIB seats. The front seats rotate around to create a great place to sit and relax. The RIB seats then fold out and can be pushed together to create a comfortable double bed. The bed is limited in length so would go to a max of 178cm on the passenger side and 170cm on the drivers side. This bed is not suited to anyone over 6 foot however it does have a further double in the pop top roof which features a memory foam mattress which can easily take someone taller.
At the rear of the camper there is the custom fitted cassette toilet with tinted rear windows and a privacy screen to ensure discretion when in use. This camper also comes with a Hot Beach shower and tailgate shower curtain, giving you the perfect place to slip out of a wetsuit or wash down after a wonderful day at the beach.
The camper is extremely well equipped internally with an oven and grill, gas hob with two gas burners. It has a 12v/240v fridge, sink with hot and cold water and also has a diesel heater to keep you nice and warm even on the coldest of days.
In summary this is a beautiful camper van that is extremely well built, stylish and packed with extras. It is exceptionally comfortable to drive with the automatic transmission, leather seats, air conditioning and adaptive cruise control. It comes with everything you need in the back to enjoy amazing trips away, all in a lovely looking camper that will fit perfectly on your drive.
