Rapido have built themselves a
well earned reputation for building high quality motorhomes at very
sensible prices and the build quality in this Rapido Le Randonneur 786F is evident as
soon as you walk through the door. Lockers, drawers and doors all close
with a reassuring thud unlike some of the more modern motorhomes.
This 786F is built on the class leading Fiat Ducatto chassis and has the excellent 2.8 litre engine that delivers plenty of power to climb steep hills. It was registered in 2006 and has only had 3 owners from new covering just 26,158 miles. In the cab there is a radio cd, electric windows and mirrors, a reversing camera, driver airbag and a manual 5 speed gear box.
Behind the cab is the stunning lounge dinette which is the standout feature of this gorgeous motorhome. It has 2 side facing sofas separated by a substantial, solidly built dining table that can be extended. Swivel the 2 front seats round and 6 people can dine and drink in total comfort. At nighttime the sofas and dining table combine to create a comfortable double bed.
The mid-kitchen is split across both sides of the vehicle. On the nearside you have an oven and grill, a 3 gas burner hob, a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap and a generous worktop area for food preparation. On the offside is a full length three-way fridge freezer so there's plenty of space for your beer and wine. Above the fridge is a small cupboard that houses the TV which is included in the sale.
Towards the rear is the washroom which has all the facilities you need to keep yourself fresh on your travels. There is a separate shower with a perspex screen, a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin with a mixer tap and a surprising amount of bathroom cupboard space to store your toiletries. A large window and a skylight above the shower ensure that the bathroom is flooded with light.
At the rear there is a fixed french bed. The bed frame lifts up giving access to a large storage space underneath and there is additional storage space in the numerous overhead lockers. Heating and hot water run off both electric and gas.
Externally the motorhome has a tow bar, a bike rack for 2 cycles, a roof ladder and an outside shower point. The motorhome has just had a service, a new cambelt, a habitation check and will come with a new MOT so she is ready to go.
