From one of France’s finest motorhome manufacturers the Rapido 691 Le Randonneur ( translates as ‘the Hiker’ ) based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with the 2.3L 130 brake horse power multijet turbo diesel engine. Combined with a 6 speed manual gearbox gives a powerful yet economic drive. Having only had 3 owners and covered only 13064 miles from new it is plated at a frugal 3500kgs GVW which means there are no driving restriction for any ages. It comes with a comprehensive service history: 08/13 1507m; 06/15 3389m; 06/17 3685m; 08/19 9597 inc Cambelt; last serviced 01/21 at 12k. We enter the motorhome on the Drivers side immediately to the right is a single sofa and opposite is the dinette with L shaped sofa. The forward facing part has 2 X 3 point lap & diagonal belts for travelling passengers. The table is fixed in the middle but can be moved in any plane. The front two seats rotate to join this area so you could easily seat 6 around the table if entertaining on site. At night the table can drop down and using a combination of the sofa cushions you can make a 2nd bed.
Moving rear is the L shaped kitchen which consists of a stainless steel round bowl sink with chrome mixer tap; 3 gas burner hob & underneath a good sized oven & grill. Above the hob is an extractor fan & light ( the fan isn’t currently functioning ). There is plenty of cupboard & drawer space for all your holiday provisions. On the opposite side is a TV point in a tambour cupboard & below a large 3 way Fridge with separate freezer box that can be powered by 240v, 12v or gas depending on whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping.
One of the main features of this motorhome is the separate washroom & shower that are either side of the gangway. This can be separated from the front by a solid sliding door giving excellent privacy whilst changing. The toilet is a Thetford cassette style fresh water flush unit which has Stainless steel bowl shaped sink and chrome mixer tap to one side. The shower cubicle on the other side has perpsex doors to close and a chrome mixer & riser for the shower head.
Finally to the rear is the fixed Island bed which has his & hers hanging wardrobes either side & at the foot of the bed is some addition storage.
Heating & Hot water are supplied by Truma combination boiler that can be powered by gas or 240v.
