Here we have a luxury Pilote motorhome which has been beautifully maintained by its owners who have had it since new. The interior units are finished in high gloss and the upholstery is cream.
The engine is the upgraded 150bhp 2.3 litre Fiat with an automatic gearbox.
The habitation door is in the centre of the offside and an
auto-retract electric step aids entry here into the well-planned interior.
To the left is a large fridge with separate freezer. Above is a cupboard which is large enough to
house a microwave if required. A TV on a bracket is fixed on the side for
viewing from the lounge area. Beyond
that is the fixed bed in the popular ‘French’ layout. The large storage area
can be accessed by lifting the bed if required. There is another TV at the end of the bed and high-level
lockers with plenty of LED lighting. To the
side in the nearside corner of the van is a well-appointed washroom with a separate
(unused!!) shower with a screen across the far end. Infront of that is a full height wardrobe
with drawers below. Sliding doors can be
pulled across to make this area more private.
Moving forward there is the kitchen area. The hob has two gas burners and one electric
hot plate with grill and oven below and an extractor above with plenty of
worktop area beyond the sink.
The lovely lounge area is finished in practical cream
synthetic leather and has two forward facing seatbelts and a third rear facing
one. There is a large adjustable dining
table in this area and a side facing settee opposite which, in conjuction with
the front two swivel seats creates a welcoming dining area which can be used by
several people. There are extra (unused) fill-in pieces that make up a large
double bed here if required. There is also a neat wine storage and glass area next
to the habitation door with a useful locker beneath for shoes.
Above the lounge/dining area is a large drop-down electric
double bed with side nets giving this van a total of six berths.
The cab has a Panasonic sound system with remote control and
Bluetooth capability. There is also a reversing
camera with a separate screen here. Above
are lockers with a roof vent allowing plenty of light in.
All the windows and roof vents have integral blinds as do
the cab windows.
Externally there is a large awning, solar panel and external
access to the storage area under the bed which also has power, light and
heating.
This van also has the added advantage of being plated at
3500KG.
