A stunning example of this compact A Class out of the Laika stable. Built in Tuscany under the Hymer umbrella, the Italians are very passionate about their product this being a fine example offering so much in a compact van. Built on a Fiat Chassis with the 2.3 TD 150BHP Engine mated with the popular Comformatic 6 speed gearbox. First registered in May 2017 the current owner has had it from new from Southdowns in Portsmouth the Local Laika main dealer. Having covered only 9196 miles currently still covered by Laika 3 year warranty, just service & habitation checked.
We enter the motorhome on the drivers side via an electric step, immediately to the right is the dinette which consists of an L Shaped Sofa and a fixed table that can be positioned in the centre of this area. The front seats swivel round to join the table and there is also a single seat by the habitation door. In all you could comfortably seat 5 people for dinner or drinks. The forward facing seats have 2 x 3 point seat belts and the side sofa drops out of the way to make leg room for the inner passenger.
The cab of the A Class feels so much bigger than a coach built as the body line continues for the length of the body, the benefit of this is the Drop down bed over the cab is the full width of the van making a good sized double bed accessed via a ladder. There are a host of features including: Climate Control Air Conditioning; Electric Window; Electric Mirrors; Multi Media system including Satellite Navigation & Bluetooth; Cruise Control; Traction Control Plus; Thathcam Category 1 Autowatch Can Bus Alarm system. There are Remis Blinds to the side & front windows, the front being able to be pulled down from the bottom or the top. Cab access is via a passenger side door.
The kitchen immediately to the left of the habitation door has a 3 burner gas hob, a circular stainless steel sink and a chrome mixer tap. The chopping board that covers the sink also doubles as a shelf. Below the worktop is a fully Automatic Dometic Absorber, combined fridge freezer that can be powered by 240v, 12v or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping. There is also small oven.
The bathroom opposite has a Thetford freshwater swivel top cassette toilette with a white enamel style sink with chrome mixer tap. There is plenty of cupboard space and a lit vanity unit. The shower can be separated by perspex doors.
The main bed is a transverse rear bed that can be electrically raised to make greater room in the garage while travelling. It is well lit and there is a TV point for your comfort of viewing in bed. The wardrobe can be accessed under the mattress.
Heating is supplied via Alde Heating system which is a wet system like your central heating system at home, and has radiators spread throughout the home. The technical double floor allows for exceptional comfort even in adverse weather conditions.
