Stepping
into the vehicle, you are greeted by a nice open living space with plenty of
seating options.
There is an
attractive wooden patterned floor throughout which can also be covered with the
fitted carpets that are stored in the vehicle garage.
Blown air
heating from Truma provides warmth at several key locations within the vehicle.
To the left
is the kitchen galley with lots of storage drawers and 2 over cupboards for
food storage. There is a full length strip light above the kitchen along with
extractor fan.
The sink
has 2 taps. One hot and cold and 1 filtered water (new cartridge required)
To the
right of the galley is the small oven and grill mounted above the 3 way (auto)
fridge freezer.
Next up is
the wardrobe with courtesy light and access to the Status aerial signal
booster. Beneath this is the Truma combi boiler and heating system in its own dedicated
cupboard with easy access.
There are 2
steps leading up to the transverse fixed bed. These both have liftable lids to
provide excellent storage. The transverse bed is exceptionally comfortable
(we’ve tried it!) and provides a restful night’s sleep. There are 5 head height cupboards around the
sleeping area for clothes storage.
On the
nearside, we have the shower room, toilet and sink with mirror, lighting and
12v power point. The is a garment rail in the shower roof as well as a large
lifting roof light.
Moving
towards the lounge area there is a slide out smart television, which also drops
down to offer closer viewing position. There are then 2 large storage cupboards
at head height with under pelmet LED spotlights. One of these contains the
Maxview motorhome wifi control box.
There is a
large adjustable kidney shaped habitation table that moves freely to allow
dining for up to 6 people. Above this is another large roof light with
integrated LED lighting in the ceiling trim.
Both the
driver and passenger seats swivel to allow dining and relaxing.
Above the
driver and passenger seats is the large drop down bed that is also incredibly
comfortable and easy to access thanks to the integrated wooden ladder.
The van has
a recently fitted Blaupunkt double din head unit with Bluetooth media
interface. There is also a reverse camera
For a 13
year old vehicle, that has been extensively used around the UK and Europe, this
motorhome offers a lot in terms of space and functionality.
There are a
few blemishes on the bodywork here and there, and these are pictured and shown
in our video tour.
This van
has the capability to be off grid for extensive periods by virtue of the 2 x
100AH leisure batteries mated with the 300w combined solar panels with Victron
controller along with the refillable gas system. In our opinion this is one of
those vans that is an excellent all rounder i.e. drives well, huge garage,
loads of extras, offers fixed bed sleeping for 4 or 5 in absolute comfort and
all in an under 7m chassis that is solidly built by Hymer.
