This Herald Squire 400 LS is a wonderful motorhome for its age and has been kept in really good condition by its owners. It has been held in the same family for the last 20 years and has been well loved, maintained and serviced throughout. The 400 LS has a great layout which includes a comfortable L-shaped lounge at the rear with triple aspect views including a large portrait window. The motorhome is a 4 berth and comes with two front seat belts and a further two lap belts in the rear. It is an ideal motorhome for a couple or single person looking to get away and enjoy the great outdoors.
The motorhome is built on the Ford Transit chassis and has the powerful 2.5l turbo diesel engine with 5 speed manual gearbox. The 400 LS has a really good living area and makes the most of the space in the motorhome. The main feature is the spacious L-shaped lounge at the rear which can also be turned into an ideal dining area with the use of a folding table, which is cleverly stored away when not in use. There are plenty of windows that let the natural light flood in making this a great place to sit down and relax. Moving forward there is a well equipped galley kitchen featuring an oven, grill, gas hob with 3 gas burners, sink with mixer tap and 3-way fridge with ice box.
The Herald motorhome is extremely comfortable to sleep in. The L-shape sofa converts into a good sized double bed (205cm x 130cm) which is simple and quick to set up.. There is a further large double over the cab for the more adventurous - which doubles up as a perfect additional storage space if required. The motorhome does come with a compact washroom with Thetford flush cassette toilet and pull down sink. There is a pull out shower but the shower tray is cracked and does need attention so not it use. It is possible to get repaired if you do want to get the shower working. There is gas fire heating and hotwater on gas and electric.
In summary, this is a great motorhome for its age and would be perfect for a couple or single person. It has been well looked after and would provide fantastic motorhome adventures for many years to come.
