This Ford Transit Custom 270 Limited is a superb example of a professional converted Camper by Bodans of Shropshire. Based on the extremely popular Clee design this 1995cc, 6 speed manual Custom has all the luxuries you would expect including cab air con, cruise control, heated seats, making this the perfect vehicle to use as both an everyday and for brilliant holidays away.
The
Bodans Clee conversion is unique in it’s design, offering a fixed cassette
toilet to the rear of the vehicle and with the use of the RIB Neptune seating
system, you get maximum use of the length of the camper with free access of the
central gangway. A rear elevating roof gives you maximum headroom in the living
area at the rear of the vehicle and the galley style kitchen offers a high quality
SMEV appliances – 2 burner hob and sink combination unit, it also features a good sized fridge with removable freezer unit. The tested RIB
Neptune seats offer two belted travel seats making the Clee a four-seat vehicle
able to sleep up to four people, with the use of a roof bed. The standard cab
seats are fitted onto swivel plates allowing them to rotate and face into the
living area for four people to dine in comfort from the matching tables. The
Clee is the perfect conversion for long camping trips away, giving you all the
facilities you need with the added bonus of having a private toilet
particularly important where some sites may not have all their facilities open at the current time.
In summary this is an absolutely fantastic camper and one you would be proud to own. The build quality of this camper is second to none and has the Bodan quality stamp all over it. The unique design incorporating a fixed cassette toilet is something you are unlikely to find in any other campers of this size yet still offers plenty of space and comfort for up to 4 people.
